Park Pavilion

ARCH 312 Studio

Studio 312 focused on the design of a concrete park pavilion and the design of the surrounding park meant to connect two sections of the Great Rivers Greenways to each other. The site, located at the intersection of Big Bend and Oxford Blvd, is part of the Deer Creek Greenway expansion connecting to the River des Peres Greenway. My proposal includes a series of three interconnected, tunnel-like pavilions and focuses on using a mix of planters, concrete benches, and semi-permeable pavers to direct the flow through the park.
